Who We Are
The Origin
It started the way most solutions do — with a problem that wouldn't go away. Rowing at Northeastern, grinding out practices on the Charles, the track bite got bad enough that bandaging up before every session became routine. Tape, sleeves, wrapping whatever you could find. None of it worked the way it should.
The existing solutions were either too bulky, slipped around, or just weren't made for the real demands of competitive rowing. So instead of accepting that this was just part of the sport, we built something better.
BITE Performance came out of that frustration. Not a garage startup fantasy — a practical answer to a real problem that every rower at every level deals with. We sourced the right materials, engineered the right construction, and built the BITEGUARD to do exactly one thing: stop track bite for good.

Our Mission
Track bite isn't a rare injury. It's a universal experience. You earn it on the Charles, on the Schuylkill, on any body of water with a rowing program. We're not solving a niche problem — we're solving a problem that's been accepted for too long because nothing good existed to fix it.
No compromises on materials. No cutting corners on construction. If we're going to ask rowers to trust us with their training, we're going to earn it.
